Bangor PD Says Second Of Two Missing Bangor Teens Has Been Found
The second of two missing teens, whom authorities have been trying to locate since the beginning of July, has been found.
The Bangor Police Department was called in the early morning hours of July 3rd, after 17-year-old Charity Bell, and 15-year-old Madisyn Trotter were reported missing.
It was believed that Trotter and Bell were traveling together and had connections to the greater Portland and Lake Region area.
According to Lieutenant Wade Betters, Public Information Officer for the Bangor Police Department, authorities did catch up with Trotter later that week on July 6th, at a grocery store in Portland.
Bell, however, remained missing for most of the month, until recently, when Lt. Betters says Bell was finally located.
"Charity Bell was located in the State of New Hampshire. Charity’s family has been in contact with her, and she is no longer considered missing."
The Bangor Police Department had asked for help locating the girls, directing folks with any information to contact Bangor PD dispatch by dialing 207-947-7384, and they can use the anonymous tip line by selecting option 3.
