It's been about a year and a half since Bangor Kaddie Sharpe and Nick Iammatteo opened their 'Emporium of Spooky Goods & More' on State Street in Bangor.

According to their website, the shop features everything from scary bath bombs to terrifying tunes. The Emporium features gifts you can wear, watch, listen to, and play with. There are scary things for all your senses, even some autographed memorabilia.

However, if you've happened upon the shop or been following them online, you've likely noticed that some changes have been brewing.

Sharpe and Iammatteo have packed up their storefront at 22 State Street and are preparing to relocate to a new location in the Downtown Bangor area, specifically at 51-A Main Street.

Since 2018, the Main Street site has been the home of the Penobscot Theatre's 'Dramatic Academy'. Right after the New Year, the DA, as it's often called, moved its operation to a space on Harlow Street, leaving its Main Street location open.

Sharpe and Iammatteo have secured the spot as their new storefront, with more space to set up more merchandise. They closed up their shop on State St. last week and plan to take a little over a month to set up in their new digs. Their website will still be active, for those looking for their fight fix, and they're offering a pick-up option for those who order online but want to pick up their goods locally. Simply reach out to them via phone (their number hasn't changed and will remain active throughout the entire transition) by calling (207) 573-1141.

They hope to have the new location of the Emporium of Spooky Goods & More up and at some point in May.

Betsy Lundy, Executive Director of the Downtown Bangor Partnership, says there's been definite interest by some in the State Street storefront, but there's no word yet on what new business will end up taking over that location.
