A rockin' new show has been announced in Bangor - Blue Oyster Cult.

Blue Oyster Cult will make a return to Bangor this fall. The newly announced show is set for November 10, at the Cross Insurance Center. Tickets go on-sale to the general public on August 3, at 10 a.m.

Mark Farner's American Band will open the show.

The new show is on the heels of two big rockin' tours coming to Maine, announced last week. First, Stevie Nicks announced a show in Bangor, on September 22, at Maine Savings Amphitheater. Tickets are on-sale now.

The second was ZZ Top performing at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Wednesday, October 19. This will be the band's first time performing in Maine without bassist, vocalist, and band co-founder, Dusty Hill. Hill passed away in July 2021 at the age of 72. Longtime band guitar tech Elwood Francis has been performing in his place ever since. Tickets are on-sale now.
