What are the odds.  It might be March Madness but I wouldn’t make this bet.

A man in Madawaska went into his local police station and when he came back outside his car was gone from the parking lot.  And he says he was only in the station for a minute.

Yes he left the car idling, but it was right in front of the police station.  This happened Monday night about 6p.m. and by 8 p.m. a Caribou police officer recognized the car and arrested the driver.

Back to Logan Fontaine, the guy who left his car idling and had it stolen so quickly and the reason he was at the police station in the first place.  Ironically, he was at the police station to help what he thought might be a little girl who had her bicycle stolen.  He was on his way home from work and he saw a man with bolt cutters walking down the street with a girl’s small bicycle. He thought that man was suspicious. And that's why he stopped at the Police station, to report his suspicion.

All's well that ends well, I guess. But I doubt the car thief filled the tank up with gas before being pulled over and arrested for car theft by the police.
