Spectators got some great footage of the CP Holiday Train, when it visited Hermon, Jackman, and Brownville Junction last week!

The CP Holiday Train has two trains, one that travels exclusively in Canada and another with stops in both Canada and the U.S. And last week, it made 3 visits to Maine, including Hermon.

On last Wednesday, November 23rd, everyone was beyond psyched for a long weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving and Black Friday, well that got kicked up an extra notch, when the news dropped that CP Holiday Train was coming to visit.

CP's Holiday Train made its maiden voyage to the state of Maine, with a bunch of colorfully lit boxcars, holiday cheer, and a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, performing a live concert for the crowds.

So many people from all over Maine caught it all in person. Stopping for around 30 minutes, the band played many well known holiday songs, and there were several speakers whole spoke about many of the local food pantries throughout the state for those in need.

The CP Holiday Train stopped in Jackman and Brownville Junction, before hitting the town of Hermon. right before sunset, it all made for the perfect setting for a little holiday cheeer.

After a few virtual events, the train was back live and in person for its 24th year. They support food banks and food shelves, by raising awareness for food insecurity issues.

From the videos, you can see that a great time was had by all.
