Christopher Ethier From Old Town Serves Onboard The USS Antietam [PHOTO]

Operations Specialist 3rd Class Christopher Ethier, from Old Town, is assigned to Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54).  

Here is a photo of Christopher standing watch in the ship’s combat information center. Antietam is on patrol with the George Washington Carrier Strike Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of stability and security in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.

We thank Christopher for his outstanding service to our country and our state!!

In a press release from the U.S. Navy Office of Community Outreach they explain "Why Being There Matters."

They will be there every Saturday, Sunday and holiday this year.  They are there around the clock, far from our shores, defending America at all times."
