This morning's early morning wind storm has certainly created problems for  homeowners, business owners and commuters, as well as for both major power companies here in Maine.

As of 11 a.m. both Central Maine Power and Emera Maine are reporting a total of 119,280 customers without power across the state.  Crews are busily at work during the high winds this morning to get the juice back to those customers.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service says that winds throughout the day will continue to gust up to 49 mph in Bangor, and even more so downeast.  The temperatures will begin to fall as this Friday goes on, and the low temperature tonight is expected to dip below freezing in Bangor, as the winds continue to gust as high as 33 mph.  Winds will finally become calm by Saturday morning, which will be a sunny day with a high of 46 degrees.
