Deer Isle-Stonington & Blue Hill Experiencing Power Outage

At this writing, Emera Maine is reporting over 3900 customers without power.  Here's why.

This morning at a little after 11 a.m. a car struck a utility pole in that area and caused a service interruption, according to Emera Maine.  At 11:32 a.m. the company reports 3933 customers without power in the Deer Isle-Stonington and Blue Hill areas.

Crews have been dispatched and are quickly working to restore the power, if they haven't already.
