I know....the mere mention of the word Christmas in the month of September is pretty much holiday sacrilege, but this is kind of a different story. Treworgy Orchards in Levant is letting people choose and reserve their Christmas trees starting this Saturday, and keeping it going for the next couple weekends through the 14th of October. Likely, you'll be out there picking apples, or checking out their absolutely unreal corn maze,  but what a great way to get ahead!

I love the Christmas season, but I'm usually pretty leery about getting too far ahead of myself. But this is just good planning. Why not? You're already feeling Fall-ish and festive, so why not take it one step further and check out Christmas trees? Besides, it's not like you're bringing it home yet.

They take you by tractor out to where the trees are, and you get to pick it out. But not only that, they encourage you to decorate it a bit and really have some fun with it. Then come back after Thanksgiving and take the Christmas Wagon out and collect your tree. Plus there will be hot chocolate, cider, and homemade donuts!!!

The cool part is, come the end of November, you'll already have picked out the perfect tree. And there couldn't be a better time to do it. In the season, trees get pretty picked over, and if you procrastinate at all, you can miss out on all the decent trees. Now you'll have it all picked out, and just standing there waiting for you to come back and pick it up.

I get it. No one really wants to think about Christmas before we've even gotten Halloween out of the way yet. But hey....This will kick your holiday preparedness into high gear. Don't fight it, just be the tree.
