Can you help make a child and their family a little more comfortable in their time of need?

Today is a big day for us here at I-95. It's actually a "Day of Miracles." Today, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., I'll be on the air asking for your donation towards the Children's Miracle Network Hospital at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

With a donation of $20, you'll be helping kids like MacKenzie Schors of Machias, the Children's Miracle Network Hospital Champion Child for 2020.

MacKenzie was born 12 weeks early. She spent 100 days in the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and today she's a happy and healthy 14-year-old. Donations from people like you saved MacKenzie's life, and made her family's life a little bit easier during their 100 day stay in Bangor.

There will be others like MacKenzie and her family.  People that will experience the unexpected and then be faced with something that nobody would ever want to be faced with. Unfortunately, a medical emergency, and then a prolonged situation far from home could be in any young Maine families future.

So today between 11 an 3, we'll have good folks like MacKenzie and her family on the air, along with some of the doctors and other staff from the CMN hospital at Northern Light EMMC in Bangor.

REMEMBER, ALL MONEY DONATED STAYS RIGHT HERE IN BANGOR TO HELP MAINE PEOPLE!

$20 is the amount that we're looking from you today, please give us a call to donate during our Radiothon at 207-973-4555.

Text MAINEKIDS to 51555.

Donate online at MiraclesInMaine.org.

Every little bit helps.  Like MacKenzie's mother said in the video above, "How do you thank someone for saving your child's life?  Thank you never seems like enough."

We look forward to hearing from you!
