Dover-Foxcroft Community Members Post Messages On Theatre Marquee

The Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft had to close it's doors just like everywhere else has during the pandemic, but folks in that town and beyond are still getting the point across.

How cool is this?  For a $25 donation to the non-profit Theatre, one can post a message on the marquee for the day.  They call it the "Keep In Touch Campaign."

Whomever coughed up today's $25 must have been a fan of the old TV show Bewitched, as the familiar line "Calling Dr. Bombay" was loudly called out when the fumbling doctor's services were needed.

The daily messages can be viewed via a webcam pointed at The Center Theatre, which is located on East Main Street.
