Duncan Hines Recalls Cake Mixes
Planning to do some baking for the Holidays? You may want to check your cupboards for these boxes because you could be giving your family a gift that no one wants, salmonella.
The FDA released this statement this week:
Conagra Brands is collaborating with health officials in connection with a positive finding of Salmonella in a retail sample of Duncan Hines Classic White cake mix that may be linked to a Salmonella outbreak that is currently being investigated by CDC and FDA.
This is a voluntary recall by the company and it has not been proven as of yet that they are responsible for the outbreak under investigation.
