Don't know about where you live but there are trees down all around my neighborhood. If that is you Emera has some safety guidelines to follow until crews get you lines back in the air where they belong.

The Emera site posted this:

We've received reports of motorists traveling over downed lines. The public is reminded to never touch a downed power line or a tree in contact with a downed line, and never drive over one.
Motorists are urged to slow down or move over and change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways.
Customers who use generators or alternate heating sources are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines at all times.

If you need to report an outage you can call their customer service center 207-973-2000 or you can report outages at the webpage.

In Bangor and Brewer alone there are almost 100,000 customers with out power and estimates vary greatly from location to location.  Emera does keep an outage map updated frequently. Click Here to find your area.
