
Sheriffs Release Identity Of Woman Killed In Glenburn Crash Tuesday
Authorities have a better picture of what led to the death of a 65-year-old Bradford woman at an intersection in Glenburn on Tuesday morning.

According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, Linda Burrill was a passenger riding in a black 2020 Chevy Equinox, with a male driver, heading south on the Hudson Road in Glenburn. As the driver approached the intersection of Hudson and Pushaw Roads, he tried to make a turn and came in contact with a blue 2017 Chevy Silverado which was pulling a trailer, that had been traveling in the opposite direction.

"As the vehicles neared the intersection, the operator of the Chevrolet Equinox attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Pushaw Road directly in front of the oncoming Chevrolet Silverado, resulting in a collision."
Burrill was fatally injured as a result of the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. We're told the driver and those who were traveling in the Silverado sustained only minor injuries.
