Greta Van Fleet to Play First Show in Maine This October

When the band Greta Van Fleet burst on the scene back in 2017, their sound was unmistakable to fans of rock n' roll. The young men that made up Greta Van Fleet had clearly been inspired by the iconic band Led Zeppelin. That familiar sound rocketed them up the charts with two massive singles, "Highway Tune" and "Safari Song" and led to several years on the road touring. Somehow, with years on the road under their belt already, Greta Van Fleet has never played a show in Maine. That will change come October.

Greta Van Fleet will perform live at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Saturday, October 8th. Tickets will officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4th at 12pm. It'll be a busy 2022 in Bangor for live music, with several big-name acts set to play the waterfront in the summer. Keith Urban, Jimmy Buffett, REO Speedwagon and Foo Fighters are just some of the performers scheduled for this summer/fall.

If you've never had a chance to see Greta Van Fleet perform live before, they are a spectacle. The band is composed of three brothers from a small town in Michigan, Josh, Jake, and Sam Kiszka, along with drummer Danny Wagner. Their brand of blues rock mixed with a hard rock sound couple with Josh Kiszka's scintillating vocal range has quickly made Greta Van Fleet one of the most must-see bands touring the country.
