Haunted House Warns Visitors It’s ‘Interactive, So You Will Be Touched’
Let's get this right out of the way: I'm not a huge fan of being spooked. Perhaps it's an amped-up sense of self-preservation or a sense of embarrassment about the weird yipping dog noise I make when someone tries to jump me. Either way, I'll be the first to let folks know that if they try to scare me, I will swing (as a reflex, not intentionally).
That being said, I can totally see the appeal of going to something spooky, like a haunted house, if merely for the thrill of having your heart stop for a minute.
And from what I have heard, through the years, The Kenduskeag Haunted House knows how to scare the dickens out of ya.
After having to take a couple of years off due to Covid, they are back this year and have promised to make the scares even bigger and better.
But they also want you to be warned: it's an interactive haunted house--so they may be reaching out to touch you, literally!
In a post on their Facebook Page, they spell it out pretty clearly:
They also go on to explain what some of the other rules are if you dare to visit.
So if you're looking for a good "hands-on" scare this year, this might just be up your alley. Just be warned, you'll have to follow the rules or forego the fun.
The Kenduskeag Haunted House will run Friday, October 28th, and Saturday, October 29th from 7 PM till midnight. Admission is $5 per person. It's located at 536 Kenduskeag-Levant Rd.
Happy Haunting!
