The volunteer workers from the Brewer Parks & Recreation Department are getting the pool ready this week, so summer must be coming soon!

We contacted Michael Martin from the Brewer Parks & Recreation Department to find out exactly when the gates will open, and he tells us that day will be Thursday, June 20th, at 1 p.m.

The kids will be out of school on the 18th, the staff will train on the 19th, and then it's "people in the water" that Thursday!

General swim hours will be Monday - Friday, 1 to 5:30.  Tuesdays and Thursdays there's a "free swim" between 6 and 7:30 pm.  Saturday and Sunday hours are between 12 noon and 4:30 p.m.

The costs for kids 17 and under that live in Brewer is $1, and $1.50 for adults.  Out of town folks pay $2 for kids under 17 and $2.50 for adults.  Seniors are admitted free.

Brewer Parks and Recreation have all sorts of fun stuff going on this summer.  For a full schedule go HERE!
