Yup, when I looked outside this morning to see if I wanted to take my morning walk I went right back and sat back down because I loathe walking in the wind. Windy conditions especially this time of year aren't only cold but you get sandblasted anywhere near the road.

Then once I arrived at work and went onto Facebook I saw that some of my friends in some areas the high winds had knocked out their power.  Curious as to how long we'd be enjoying this phenomenon I logged onto the National Weather Service and found that the day is going to blow...literally all day. They said:

WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph possible,  mainly across the higher terrain.

* TIMING...Through 6 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and scattered power outages may result.

Oh the joy. Check here to see all the areas effected.
