Officials have indicated that just like back in 2013, the World Series trophy and some sort of rally will happen here.

According to a press release today from Red Sox Nation North, "Phil Morse, University of Maine benefactor (Morse Field) and minority owner of the Boston Red Sox, has indicated that it is highly likely that the trophy will come to this area again."

In 2013, the organization was successful in bringing the World Series trophy to both the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor and also to the University of Maine campus for rallies.

“We are working to ensure that our community is on the New England tour for the Red Sox and the World Series Trophy this year as well”, said Co-Chair Skip Chappelle.

Officials with Red Sox Nation North say that details will be announced soon once a date has been set.
