A 25-year-old Hudson man is dead and six other people injured after a single-vehicle crash in Palmyra Saturday morning.

Maine State Police responded to the accident at 158 Warren Hill Road in Palmyra just after 2:00. When they arrived at the scene, they found Adam Webber already deceased, as a result of the crash. Six other occupants of Webber's Ford F-350 sustained serious injuries as a result of the truck's impact. They were all transported to Sebasticook Valley Hospital.

The single-vehicle crash remains under investigation, but police say speed and alcohol were likely factors in the accident.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Maine State Police in Skowhegan at 624-7076, and ask to speak to Trooper Garrett Booth.
