
Bangor, Maine Man Faces New Charges for Talbot Trail Shooting
A Bangor man who allegedly shot another man on a trail off Stillwater Avenue is now facing new charges.

Justin Grover, 38 of Bangor, was initially arrested on June 17, 2026, after Bangor Police responded to a report of shots fired near Stillwater Avenue and found a homeless man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was located on Talbot Trail, which is a paved pathway that runs between Stillwater Avenue and Sylvan Road in Bangor.
He told authorities he had been camping in the woods off Stillwater.
Maine Man Arrested in Connection with a Bangor Shooting Faces New Charges
An investigation into the incident resulted in Grover's arrest for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, which is a felony.

Officials say he was bailed from Penobscot County Jail with conditions.
Also charged, after that search, was Kristina Hart, 35 of Bangor on multiple charges, including obstruction of government administration.
Bangor, Maine Man is Accused of Shooting a Homeless Man Off Stillwater Avenue
As the investigation continued, a warrant for Grover's arrest for elevated aggravated assault was obtained on June 25, 2026, due to his alleged involvement in the shooting.
Grover was taken into custody and booked at the Penobscot County Jail, with his bail set at $100,000 cash.
This incident remains under investigation.
