Bangor Police arrested a local woman in connection with a stabbing last weekend on Larkin Street.

Bangor, Maine, Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Another Woman

Sammantha Johnson, 36, of Bangor, is charged with:

  • Aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon
  • Criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

She was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.

Bangor Police Officers responded to a Larkin Street home for a report of a stabbing. A female victim with severe lacerations was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect had fled the scene before the officers arrived.

Officials say the victim was released from the hospital before the suspect could be taken into custody.

After an investigation into the incident, an arrest warrant was issued for Sammantha Johnson of Bangor. She was arrested on Thursday and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
