Officials say a Bangor woman was found deceased on Union Street after being hit by a vehicle.

Police Have Identified the Victim

Gabrielle Pariseau, 22, of Bangor, died as a result of the crash.

The Crash Happened On Outer Union Street in Bangor

Bangor Police Sergeant Jason McAmbley says the crash happened in the area of the 1800 block of Union Street at approximately 10:00 Monday. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Pariseau deceased near the roadway.

Officials Say the Driver is Cooperating

The driver was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They are cooperating fully with the police.

Union Street's 1800 block is in the area around the Paul Bunyan Campground, on the way to Hermon. This incident remains under investigation.
