Zachary Williams, 50, of Buckfield, is charged with two counts of criminal use of explosives.

Williams is a suspect in connection with an explosion in Sumner on January 12, 2026. The explosion happened in a snowbank in front of the home of one of Mr. Williams' friends on Decoster Road.

On Monday morning, investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office executed a search warrant at Williams' home on Allen School Road in Buckfield.

Seized in the search were several items that could be used to manufacture explosives.
Williams was arrested on Monday and transported to the Oxford County Jail, where his bail was set at $500 cash. He has since posted bail and has been released.
