
Maine Deputies Detain 3 Wanted Men With Venezuelan IDs
Deputies and their K9 tracked down 3 suspects who crashed their vehicle and fled.
Sagadahoc Deputies Searched for 3 Suspects Who Fled From a Vehicle Crash
The suspects, whose names have not been released, were engaged in a high-speed chase with Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Deputies on I-295 in the town of Richmond when they crashed near exit 43.
The suspects ran from the vehicle in various directions at approximately 12:30 am.

Several agencies spent the next several hours searching for the three men.
Maine Deputies Locate 3 Men Who Fled From a Police Chase in Richmond
The first suspect was discovered at around 3:30 am in an unlocked unit at KO Storage. Because he was wet and cold, officials had him examined at a local hospital.
When the second man was spotted crouching near the wood line of I-295, K-9 Jordy was brought in and tracked the man's scent to Post Road.

While that search was going on, Deputy Matt Fisher saw a man jogging on another part of Post Road, detained him, and sat him in his cruiser.
A short time later, K-9 Jordy followed the track to the individual seated in the cruiser, confirming it was their suspect.
The third suspect was spotted by a school bus driver, who saw him walking down Ridge Road in Bowdoinham, and reported him to the police.
Officials say he wore a shirt, shorts, and no shoes when he was detained.
3 Men Suspected in an Augusta, Maine, Had Venezuelan IDs
Officials say the three men are from out of state and had Venezuelan IDs. None of the suspects speaks English.
They were turned over to the Augusta Police Department as suspects in a criminal theft case.
This investigation is ongoing, and criminal charges are expected.
