In an August 12th social media post, comedian Matt Rife thanked fans in Bangor following his “sweaty, sold-out show,” calling the crowd a “beautiful bunch.”

Rife joked that the show went on until they were shut down and said he “can’t wait” to return to Bangor.

The August 8th comedy show at Maine Savings Amphitheater on the Bangor Waterfront was a rescheduled performance that was originally planned for July 12th, 2025.

The show was moved to August 8th, 2026, because of a shift in the comedian’s filming schedule.

The comedian is known for his stand-up specials, crowd work, and a large following on social media, where clips from his performances have drawn millions of views.

Rife has also appeared in television and film projects and has toured extensively with sold-out comedy shows across the country, including here in Bangor.
