
M.I.A. Speaks Out After Being Dropped From Kid Cudi’s Tour
The “Paper Planes” singer was dropped from Kid Cudi’s tour last week, including the planned stop at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.

M.I.A. was originally scheduled to join Cudi on his ‘Rebel Ragers Tour’ throughout the summer, but she has since been removed from the lineup following an early stop on the tour.
In a post shared to his Instagram Stories, Cudi said M.I.A. would no longer appear on the remaining tour dates, claiming he had previously made it clear that he did not want anything “offensive” happening during his shows.

Cudi said he was “flooded with messages” from fans who were upset by M.I.A.’s rants during the first few shows of the tour.
The ‘Rebel Ragers Tour’ only kicked off last month, but M.I.A. made it just four shows before being removed from the lineup.
M.I.A. has continued to be active on social media following her removal from the tour, including a post where she criticized the tour’s name and questioned whether it still fits.
The concert is still scheduled for Bangor’s Maine Savings Amphitheater on Saturday, June 6th, with special guest Big Boi of Outkast.
