
Top 2025 Moment: David Letterman Meets Paul Bunyan in Maine
As we wind down 2025, its fun to look back at some of the incredible moments that took place in the 207 this year, and to be honest, one stands tall above the rest!
It was "Can't miss TV" back in May of this year
You might have heard of this guy? The iconic David Letterman, paid a visit to the penultimate episode of "The Nite Show with Danny Cashman" fulfilling a life long dream for Dan.
As you would expect, Dave was kind, funny, and of course, charming as hell, and he seemed to really enjoy his visit to Bangor.
He chatted about taking a selfie with the Paul Bunyan statue, and shouted out Dysart's in Hermon, where he was hoping to grab a meal, after his appearance on the show.

After he was Press Secretary for Gov. John Baldacci, our friend, Dan Cashman, than began a reboot of his local talk show, which amazingly aired for 15 seasons, all across the State of Maine.
The very idea of a locally based talk show in this day and age of streaming, thriving for 15 years, is a very impressive feat.
Speaking of talk shows, the iconic Letterman ended his, back in 2015, but he now hosts an incredible program on Netflix, called "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" If you need a Dave fix, this more than fits the bill!
