Maine is a foodie state, and as such, the numerous amount of dining options will make any food lover happy.
Far & Wide ranked the Pine Tree State as having the "10th-best food scene in the U.S.," and well over 50 Maine restaurants have been featured on food TV shows. Not too bad.
So how does a road trip hitting up all of the Maine restaurants featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" sound? Are you up for the challenge?
1. Bob's Clam Hut, Kittery
Kick off your culinary adventure at Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery. According to its website, this iconic spot has been serving up fresh, crispy clams since 1956. The restaurant states that some customers' favorite meals include Bob’s New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Stew, the traditional Bob’s fried clams and the Lillian fried clams.
And who knows, you may bump into Martha Stewart on your visit.

2. Maine Diner, Wells
Next, head north to the Maine Diner in Wells. This classic diner offers hearty comfort food with a local twist. Breakfast and seafood fare are some good options depending on what time of day you come.
According to their website, the restaurant has served over 8 million customers since 1983!
Guy Fieri visited this iconic spot in 2010 for episode 13 of Season 9 of "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives." (The TV star chef was a fan of the chowder!)
3. The Porthole, Portland
Make your way to Portland's waterfront for a visit to The Porthole. Known for its laid-back vibe and fresh seafood, this spot is perfect for enjoying a lobster roll (or two) while watching the boats go by.
The place has been through several changes over the years (it's been around since the '20s!), including renovations and reimaginings, and it continues to be a popular one to visit.

4. Becky's Diner, Portland
Not too far away, from The Porthole is Becky's Diner. This beloved eatery serves up hearty breakfast and lunch dishes.
