James Taylor Is Coming Back to Bangor; Here’s How to Win Tickets
Last June, legendary rock and roller James Taylor came to Maine, playing to a packed crowd, in the pouring rain.
In fact, the rain didn't even phase the man, who took delight (as did the crowd) in mocking Mother Nature a bit as he sang songs about the elements.
It seems the 75-year-old singer/songwriter enjoyed his time in the Queen City so much, despite the weather, that he's agreed to come back and play again this summer.
Waterfront Concerts says Taylor, along with his All-Star Band, is set to take the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater once more on Sunday, June 30.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 23 at 10 a.m., with the pre-sale kicking off at 10 a.m on Thursday the 22. You can buy your tickets by clicking here at that time, with the presale code: Caroline.
But, we're going to give you a chance to win tickets before you can buy them. Just enter below, and you're in the running for a pair of tickets to the show.
Taylor and his band will be coming off of a Spring tour of Japan and Australia when they return stateside to play their next leg of North America.
The 6 time Grammy Award Winner proved himself to not only still be quite capable of performing his fan favorites, but also displayed his mastery of captivating a crowd with great story-telling as he bantered back and forth with the audience between his songs.
Let's hope Mother Nature decides to show some kindness this time around and keeps the rain to herself. But if she does not, at least we know that regardless of what elements may be thrown at the man, he will show up and the show will go on.
