State Police Ask Public For Help Locating Man Last Seen In Hamlin, Maine in 2019

Authorities in Maine are putting the spotlight on a missing person's case from seven years ago, hoping that someone out there might have some new information.

According to the Maine State Police, 43-year-old Jason Kirschmann disappeared in October of 2019. No one has seen or heard from him since.

"Jason was last known to be in the Boundary Line Road area of Hamlin. He is described as a white male, 5’10”, approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes."

Another online source dedicated to helping get the word out about missing people, the Charley Project, also has some additional information about Kirschmann.

"The Charley Project profiles over 16,000 'cold case' missing people mainly from the United States. It does not actively investigate cases; it is merely a publicity vehicle for missing people who are often neglected by the press and forgotten all too soon."

The site says Kirschmann has several tattoos and piercings on his body that might help to identify him.

"A tattoo of a cross on his upper arm at the shoulder, and another tattoo in black ink on the inside of his forearm... He also has a tattoo of a star on his other upper arm at the shoulder, and a tattoo on his ankle. His tongue and ears are pierced."

The Maine State Police are now the primary agency looking into Kirschmann's disappearance.
