
Maine State Police Investigating Motorcycle Crash That Killed 84-year-old Lincoln Man
An 84-year-old man from Lincoln is dead after the motorcycle he was riding went off the road in Kossuth, Maine, Wednesday afternoon, authorities say.
Maine State Police say the crash happened around 3:30 Wednesday along Route 6.
"The investigation determined that 84-year-old Dean Bradbury of Lincoln was traveling west on Route 6 when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The motorcycle, a 2000 Honda Shadow, went off the north side of the roadway into a wooded area, and Bradbury was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced deceased at the scene."

Authorities say that Bradbury did have a helmet on when he crashed.

Members of the State Police and the Maine Warden, Maine Forestry Services, and the Washington County Sheriff's office worked the scene together. The investigation is ongoing.
