Meet Laura, staff favorite at the SPCA of Hancock County. She just so also happens to be the Pet-Of-The-Week there, too.

What makes this particular kittie stand out against the rest? She's a lovebug, who enjoys sharing her love with you!

Where other cats may come across as temperamental, Laura is a downright delight,

At 10-years-old, Laura isn't a hyper little kitten, but more like a well-behaved lady. And she's all about the cuddle factor in a relationship.

Just imagine, you come home after a long day at work to this pretty, petite creamsicle of an orange tabby cat, meeting you at the door, and rubbing that little face on your leg as she says hello.

As you reach down to pet her poof of a tail, you hear, loud and clear, the tell-tale (or perhaps, in this case, the tell-tail sign of her love for you, her purr.

"Laura is a sensitive soul with a big heart, and she would love a quieter home where she could snuggle on a lap for hours on end or curl up in a sunbeam...She may seem a little shy to some people at first, but once you become her friend, she always greets you with giant purrs and snuggles...She doesn’t mind other cats but has told us she really does not want to live with a smelly dog. "

We're told Laura did have a bit of a health scare, a while back (she was in distress and her blood sugar levels started to rise) but that's all taken care of now. The only thing she'll likely need in the future is some dental work.
