This also applies to all active military members and government employees effected by the shutdown (just bring your valid ID.)

This discount will be for both their lunch and dinner menus.

"We realize this isn't a fixer for families by any means, but more of an opportunity for folks with financial challenges to still be able to have a meal out once in a while and bring the kids to enjoy some time out of the house, eat a pizza, and have a Shirley temple. Just quietly slide your valid and current card and form of payment in the guest check presenter, and we will quietly oblige and take the 50% off your bill.

This applies to food and non alcoholic beverages."

The post goes on to say that SNAP customers will also not be expected to tip the "industry standard" 20%, but only what they can.

Blaze has locations in Bangor, Blue Hill and Bar Harbor, along with a newly reopened location in Orono, operating as Black Bear Brewing and Pub. The post says all 4 Blaze locations will be honoring this deal until SNAP benefits resume.
