Maine is once again well represented!

The 2017 New England Music Awards nominees have been announced! Some of our favorite Mainers will be heading to Massachusetts in April on a quest for music glory!

Up for Band of the Year is a group from Buxton Maine, The Ghost of Paul Revere.

In the Album of the Year category, from Berwick, Maine Hilton Park's Moments record.

Portland's Armies is up for Song of the Year. Their collaboration with Spose 'At Home' scores them a nomination. Take a listen above.

Once again Jonathan Wyman is nominated for Producer of the Year.

SeepeopleS from Portland score a nod in the Live Act of the Year category.

Also from Portland, rockers Fifth Freedom are once again up for Rock Act of the Year.

In the Roots Act of the Year category Muddy Ruckus lands a nomination.

Presque Isle is home to a Pop Act of the Year nominee. Good luck to Crunk Witch.

Maine is home to two nominees for Metal Act of the Year. Congrats Cruel Hand and Sygnal to Noise!

Armies scores another nomination in the Best of State category. Also nominated is The Other Bones, Five of the Eyes, Burning Time and Builder of the House.

The 2017 New England Music Awards will be handed out April 29.
