Did You Witness The Odd Photo Dump On Interstate 95 In Bangor, Maine?
Sometimes you see weird things on the side of the highway.
One time a few years ago, I was on my way to work and I noticed something orange strewn all over the highway. As I got closer, I realized a chip/snack vendor must've lost several cases of either Cheetos or Doritos or something like them, out the back of the truck. I'm guessing some cars missed the boxes, and others... not so much.
There were hundreds of small bags of the orange-y snacks all over the road, and as people were unavoidably hitting the small bags, they were bursting open and getting orange crumbs everywhere. It was full-on Cheeto carnage. But what if you were driving down the road and saw something far stranger than that?
Did you get a look at what was littering the Ohio Street/Airport Exit in Bangor?
According to the Bangor Area Scanner page on Facebook, there were hundreds of what looked like magazine photos all over the exit off of I-95 to access Ohio Street and Bangor International Airport. Some people in the comment section (which was pure gold, by the way...) said they may have seen it happen.
Other people said they were running over the photos and maybe other "objects" related to the scene. Other people just wanted to lurk in the comment section and see what other people had to say about it. Some folks mentioned that it's possibly a rare case where the DOT might not mind cleaning up this mess.
And some people were outright and understandably, disgusted. It's bad enough to have people littering, but this seemed over the top. It does make one wonder how it happened. Angry ex? Practical joke? Hard to say. But it's obvious that someone wanted a huge amount of adult magazines out of their possession as quickly as possible. But I gotta say... Ever heard of a trashcan?!
This all has an implied level of coziness, right? Get even cozier here...
