Maine Discovery Museum Is Throwing A Halloween Party October 22nd
A big day of Halloween themed fun is coming up in Bangor!
At Maine discovery Museum, located at 74 Main Street in Downtown Bangor, you can discover three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits that invite you to explore the worlds of science, nature, geography, children’s literature, music, art, and anatomy, It is a perfect place to bring the little ones.
Saturday , October 22nd, at 1 pm, they will host a Halloween party, with no admission free.
The “Tunnel of Thrills” and “Peek-a Boo-Castle” will be open. Borrow a flashlight at the front desk and explore, if you dare!
Visit the haunted fireplace photo booth to take a selfie!
There will be a Halloween Scavenger Hunt with prizes!
Here is the schedule of events for the day:
1pm: Visit Dr. Plumpensteins’s Lab for monster slime. Make your own sticky, drippy, stretchy monster slime with a mad scientist.
1pm: Paint a Paper Pumpkin-Paint and color with special paints for a spooky effect
2pm: Sinister Secrets of Nature Time in the Boneyard with Dr.Scalentails: Creepy, crawly, slithery creatures alive and departed, presented by Dr.Scalentails
2:30pm: Magic Brews and Vapors! Magical science with ice cold ingredients!
3pm: Make Monster Repellants! Mix something up in the lab. Anti-goblin spray, dragon “blood”, or Pixie lure. Then take your monster repellant and have some fun.
3pm: Paint a Paper Pumpkin-Paint and color with special paints.
3pm: Monster Ears and Claws and Toes! Turn yourself into a monster with cardstock and art making materials.
