Maine DOT Shows Us What Makes Weather Icky

Yes and "Icky" is the technical term.  We're pretty sure you have more descriptive words for tomorrow's possible fun and adventure.

Call us crazy, but as weather nerds we love this stuff. March being the introduction to Spring you can see by the graphic how just a little warm air can really complicate the situation and spoil the pot.  Because at least speaking for myself I'd rather shovel all day than have to deal with sleet or freezing rain.  And now when you fire up the action radar and see the warm air rolling on you can explain to everyone who will listen why this storm might be rain gear over snow shovels or ice cleats over galoshes.

As for the Maine DOT aside from their own fascination with weather they are making a point so we'll consider staying off the roads. Good luck with that.
