Maine Foliage Color Nearing Peak For Columbus Day Weekend [Graphic]

Sounds like a good reason for a road trip north this weekend!

Leaf peepers rejoice, looks like your season is here!  Pack the kids into the mini-van, and have them watch the DVD player while you check out the beauty that Mother Nature is providing us!

Looking at the latest graphic on Facebook provided by Maine Fall Foliage, it may be a good weekend to travel to the Greenville area and view the hardwood trees' "moderate" level of color.  Or, make the trip further up the Interstate to Aroostook Country where the level of color has been classified as "high!"

You better hurry, because leaf color changes very quickly and of course leaves have a habit of hitting the ground!

Meanwhile, is that Frozen showing on the DVD player AGAIN?  Jeez.
