Survey Reveals Maine as the Nation’s Most Honest State
Hmmmmm... Are we really that honest?
I'm not here to call anyone out, or shed any unwanted light on myself for that matter. But that seems like a pretty big award, so to speak. I've certainly gotten enough second opinions on car repairs and inspections to know that not everyone is as honest as they should be. Or at least could be.

But what about something as trivial as whether or not you cheat on your diet sometimes? While that's not really a capital crime, it could be considered a form of dishonesty, at least to yourself. Given all that, how is it possible we're at the top of the list for states that are the most honest in the country.
No one cheats at life less than Mainers.
According to a recent survey, Mainers are most apt to tell you the truth. From anything as trivial as the diet cheating we mentioned above, to cheating on our spouses. Gambling capital of the world? Obviously not an honest place.

Surprisingly, in third place is people who cheat in the checkout line. I'm guessing self-checkouts in particular. And single-player games. Hahaha... If you cheat at a single player game, that's just pitiful.

Allegedly, 1 in 3 people cheat on their spouse. Even here in Maine, where we're so honest, haha. So while it seems everyone is doing it, nobody seems happy they did. Just something to consider. Maybe that's a place Mainers can be more honest? Or, just keep your pants on...
