Hailed as the longest sportsman show in the US that is put together by volunteers this show is both fun and educational.

This event is headed up by the Penobscot County Conservation Association who works to preserve our sporting heritage, to support wildlife conservation, and to promote sportsmanship for the common good.

The show is held at the University of Maine campus spread between the field house and the gym. A few years ago when I was looking for a kayak a demonstration st this show showed me all the ins and outs making me confident in my future choice.

This year there are over 150 vendors, ranging from sporting goods dealers to hunting and fishing guides looking to show  you the latest outdoor activities and products.

Admission is $8.00 for everyone over 12 years old. We'll let you do the math. The show will be open:

  • Friday, March 15       4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, March 16  9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Sunday, March 17     9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
