Mark Latti, with the Maine Warden's Service, says 34-year-old Tyler Low of Damariscotta was reported missing on Monday, May 5th. A local search party consisting of family and community members began looking for Low on Tuesday.

"He was last seen leaving his residence heading into the woods behind his house at approximately 7:30 that morning. Low is an experienced outdoorsman and is very familiar with the woods in the area. Low was last seen wearing brown Carhart pants, a light blue t-shirt, and a multicolored handkerchief around his neck and boots."

K-9 units from the Maine Warden Service and the Maine State Police have been aiding in the search, Latti says.

Authorities are asking folks in the area to check their security or game cameras to see if Low shows up on any of them. They encourage anyone with any details or information on where he might be to reach out to law enforcement via the Lincoln County Dispatch Center. Their phone number is (207) 882-7332.
