Maine’s Favorite Valentine’s Day Candy
Okay guys, here's what you have to do this Valentine's Day in order to score big. First, take a shower. Secondly, get your sweetheart some of these.
It's the little things that count. Guess that old time expression holds true this Valentine' Day, especially here in Maine.
Once again, Zippia, a company named with far too much time on it's hands and with too many twenty-somethings staring into their laptops all day have determined something groundbreaking, each state's favorite Valentine's Day candy.
So initially one would think chocolate. Right, guys? We know that chicks dig chocolate. Chocolate roses, chocolate truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, Dove chocolate, Hershey's Kisses, M&Ms, or even a fancy box of chocolates. They're all good, right? Yeah, score big points for chocolate of any kind here in Maine, right?
Apparently not. Women in Maine crave Conversation Hearts.
Really? What is this, 2nd grade?
While most states, 45 out of 50, prefer chocolate, it's not that way here in Maine. A good Maine girl wants to receive a big bag of chalky colored hearts with words like "Crazy 4 U" and "Sweet Pea" on them.
So there you go guys, before the love of your life wakes up on Sunday the 14th, make sure that, well, #1 that you smell good, and then #2, make sure that you have a loving card along with a red rose and a small bag of Conversation Hearts candy sitting right there on the kitchen table waiting for her.
Chances are, you can't go wrong. Especially if one of those Conversation Hearts says "Yes Dear."
