
Hollywood Casino To Bring ‘The Marshall Tucker Band’ To The Bangor State Fair This Summer
It's just been announced that The Marshall Tucker Band will be playing the Bangor State Fair this summer.
Formed in 1972 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, The Marshall Tucker Band have been a staple of the rock 'n roll world for more than 5 decades! With hits like "Can't You See", "Heard It In A Love Song," and "Take The Highway," the band was last in Bangor several years back with The Outlaws at the Maine Savings Amphitheater when they opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

They've actually played Bangor several times, both at the former Darling's Waterfront Pavillion in 2011 and 2018, The Maine Savings Amphitheater in 2022. They even played the old "Mecca" or Bangor Auditorium in 1974.
The band will play this year's Bangor State Fair on Tuesday August 7th at 7 PM, presented by Hollywood Casino.

This year, the Bangor State Fair, which started in 1849 as an event put on by the Bangor Horticultural Society, will celebrate its 177th year.

The Fair (as most of us call it) will take place at the Cross Insurance Center and Bass Park from July 30th through August 8th.
