Memorial Day is a little way away, but here before you know it. So what are your plans going to be for the weekend?

JStew: Our Memorial weekend is pretty typical. We stop by the family grave site in Brewer to put flowers out. Especially for my uncle, who served in the Korean War. It's also the first weekend that camp is all opened up and ready to go. The water's on by then, it's all clean, and it's ready for all the summer's festivities. So for my family, Memorial weekend is definitely the official start of summer. But of course, thanks to all our service members who gave all in the effort to protect our country. There aren't many things as important as that.

Cori: Our usual routine most Memorial Days has been to take in the parade and speeches afterwards and then head to my mom's to celebrate her wedding anniversary (which usually falls on that weekend.) But this year, the parade isn't happening, and their anniversary falls earlier in the week, so I'm kind of up in the air. I'll be in OOB working a wedding for the first half of the weekend, but will be home Sunday night. So I guess we'll wait and see what we come  up with. Feels kind of weird to be without a real plan. But that's just how this year has gone for us and for many, I think.
