‘Met At Work’ With Be Playing The Bangor Waterfront This Summer
Riding the wave of nostalgia and a newfound love of "yacht rock" Waterfront Concerts just announced that the 80s Australian powerhouse, Men At Work, will be playing the Maine Savings Amphitheater stage this summer.
Breaking onto the scene in the late 70s, Men At Work enjoyed much of the 80s receiving accolades and awards for their hit "Who Can It Be Now" and "Down Under".

Winning a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1983, the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductees, have been on tour, most recently, with Toto, Christopher Cross and The Romantics as part of a sold out "Yacht Rock" tour in 2025.
At the height of their success, the band set a record for being the first Australian artists to have both a #1 Album and #1 Single on the Billboard Charts in the U.S.
Founding 'Men At Work' frontman, Colin Hay, is currently the only member of the original lineup, but according to his website, the new band he tours with still does justice to the old sound that people know and love.
"...he tours with a new, diverse group of musicians (including Jimmy Branly, San Miguel Perez, Yosmel Montejo, Rachel Mazer, and Cecilia Noël), presenting Men at Work's classic hits with a fresh sound, distinguishing it from his solo shows while honoring the band's legacy. "
Hay has also been touring with Ringo's All Starr Band in recent year, and as you can see, his voice still sounds as it did decades ago when he first started.
Waterfront Concerts announced that Men At Work will be hitting the amphitheater stage on Wednesday July 29th.
They'll be joined by special guests Toad the Wet Sprocket and Shonen Knife.
