Can we all agree that this is getting completely ridiculous?

Although, it's not like we can do anything to control it. I'm personally just sick to death of it. And yes, I may finally be reaching the point where I think I should just move away. To the delight of many, I'm sure. But this "winter", if you could call it that, has just been straight-up weird this year. This I think we can all agree on.

I mean, Halloween into November was producing 70+ degree days... I was still pulling ticks off my dog in January because we were having 50-degree days then. Then all of a sudden February just slammed the door on all of it and started giving us an entire winter's worth of snow. We had four major storms in February, and three in March. Wtf?!

Oh, sorry. Four in March if you count what's in store for this weekend.

It's funny, usually, I'm right on top of these pieces of truly sad news. But I've been enjoying to post-snow glow the last several days, that I wasn't even paying attention to the fact that another round of plowable snow is on the way this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, it will snow overnight Saturday, and well into the day on Sunday.

I also had a peek at the weather app on my phone and between the two, it looks like we could see anywhere from 4-8 inches of brand-new snow when things settle down on Sunday. Worse, the temps will stay fairly warm, so it'll be more of the heavy wet stuff like we just got. It's a pain in the butt to plow, to shovel... Wet snow is just the worst.

If there's any silver lining, it's that we're in the part of spring where even these late-season storms with significant snowfall, don't stick around very long on the ground. I've lost over a foot already in melt. Of course, when the snow is all done we get our other favorite season in Maine... Mud season. See you there!

Maybe your opinion falls somewhere in the middle of these?
