Motley Crue Launch Pledge Music Campaign for ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ 30th Anniversary Reissue
Have you read the news in the Soho Tribune? Well, listen up Motley Crue fans as the band is celebrating 30 years of their classic fourth studio album Girls, Girls, Girls this year. The album just celebrated its 30th anniversary and the group is planning to reissue the album via a special Pledge Music campaign, offering fans the chance to have a variety of Crue-themed add-ons to their packages.
Girls, Girls, Girls went on to achieve four times platinum status, bolstered by the raucous title track, the driving concert favorite "Wild Side" and "You're All I Need." Bassist Nikki Sixx says, "It’s hard to believe Girls, Girls, Girls already turned 30 this year. We went against the grain with this album when it first came out in 1987. The music and lyrics reflect what was going on in the streets of Los Angeles at that time. A big thank you to all the fans who have made the album stand the test of time. It’s really cool to now see a new generation of fans exploring and digging Girls, Girls, Girls three decades later.”
For those interested, you can pick up the 30th Anniversary edition of Girls, Girls, Girls in colored vinyl, on cassette take, as a digital download and as a CD/DVD. Bundle options also include such add-ons as vintage t-shirts, lithograph posters, commemorative drum head and more.
Watch the band's sizzle reel for the release in the video player above, and be sure to head over to the Pledge Music page to see what all is available if you want to pick up the 30th Anniversary edition of Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls. The set will be available on Aug. 25.
