The Holy Donut, with two locations in Portland, and one in Scarborough, is a destination for anyone with a sweet tooth for some one-of-a-kind potato-based donuts. Such a destination that seeing a line like this is commonplace for the Exchange Street location.

Pumpkin flavor has been the autumn trend in recent years, but apple ain't goin' down without a fight.

The Holy Donut announced they are rolling out their fall flavors this week and you're going to want to get your hands on some.

How many ways can one make an apple donut? Well, there's at least three and it's worth noting that each flavor has Maine Apples in the dough!

First is the Caramel Apple donut which channels that iconic flavor from the caramel apple food truck at the fair. Which is great, considering pretty much all fair activity has been cancelled this year.

Then there's the Apple Cider donut, you can't get much more seasonal than that.

And finally the Apple Cinnamon Sugar donut. The Holy Donut promises that these are "crunchy, warm, circles of goodness."

I guess my biggest problem here is, which one do I get first?! Follow The Holy Donut on Facebook here and make your plans to get your hands on one of the coveted apple flavors before they're gone!
