The crews from Versant Power have been out in force working to upgrade the Mount Hope Avenue area of Bangor to a more reliable, upgraded electrical system, and the project will be finishing up during the month of October.

The project may continue to create power interruptions throughout the work period in the following areas of Bangor: Elm Street and Hempstead Avenue, including Forest Avenue, Palm Street, Parkview Avenue, Maple Street, Birch Street, Fern Street, Pearl Street, Hemlock Street, Juniper Street, Howard Street, Yale Street, Aspen Street, Dartmouth Street, Saratoga Avenue, Glencove Avenue and Brentwood Avenue.

Versant Power will share updates as the works progresses throughout the month of October on the Planed Maintenance page of their website and also via Twitter.

Monitor any power outages with the company's Outage Map, or by viewing a list of towns experiencing a current power out.  Versant Power customers can report outages by using their Online Outage Report Form or by calling them at (207) 973-2000 or 1-855-363-7211 (1-855-363-7211).  They can also give you an estimated time of power restoration, but you must have your account number readily available to insert into the website.
